The New Legal Requirement: Decree 192/2023
Since the publication of Decree 192/2023 by the Generalitat de Catalunya at the end of 2023, the requirement to have a current maintenance contract is established for all photovoltaic installations that required a technical project for their legalization. How often should the cleaning and technical review be done?
The cleaning service and visual inspection of the structure must be performed at least once a year to ensure efficiency and comply with preventive maintenance requirements. In high-contamination environments (proximity to the coast or industries), the frequency may increase to bi-annual.
What is the minimum service to comply with regulations?
We always recommend, at a minimum, performing the cleaning and visual inspection of the structure with the visit report, in addition to monitoring the installation where, if a breakdown or drop in performance is detected, we travel to perform the diagnosis.
What performance loss is caused by lack of cleaning?
Under normal conditions (dust, dirt), grime can cause an average efficiency loss of between 5% and 10% of your annual production. Furthermore, accumulated dirt can lead to much more substantial losses. With cleaning, you recover this percentage, meaning the cost of the service translates into an energy gain that is quickly recovered.
What is the cost of the industrial maintenance service?
